Angel Remembers

Shadow lay on the ground in a crumpled heap, gasping for breathe. the memories had come so fast and sudden.

Angel tried to breathe, but it was all flashing before her eyes. the attack, the capture, the torture, the death and blood. Her eyes were wide.

amber cussed for one thing she told the new mare im not in a heard and neither is she bingo is my brother and thats just a friend of mine who is having a very bad time she cosed her eyes ad they were in her secret hiding place destiny she yelled and destiny came over i know its hard, amber said pleadingly but can you get some light into her brain destiny nodded and closed her eyes a strig of light went into angels eyes and into her rain all that angel should see was light

The flash of the light blinded her from seeing it, but she felt the pain, she felt herself screaming, and suddenyl, she actually screamed out loud, a scream filled with pain, as there was a burning, terrible pain on her forehead, in a circle.

then they were in a lake open your eyes she yelled at angel

Her eyes snapped open, and she was sobbing, hard. All around her, misty white horses were coming. One came out, and its said, "Baby, my baby, you can do it, you will be fine." she nuzzled angel, and then they were gone, replaced by amber and destiny.

Jewel canterd over "what happend here??" she asked conserned.

Four pairs of glowing eyes blinked. A emerald green one turned to sadness

Angel lay sobbing in the shallows of the lake, and she shot a glance towards the sky.

angel shook more, and looked down again, her eyes wide with sorrow. "No.... dont leave..." she whispered, and she closed her eyes again, and screamed, an unnatural sound that sent shivers down their spine:
Angel galloped, her legs aching, through canyons, and stumbled into a clearing, large cats and evil horses swarming around, herding all of the light hewrd into cave. one shoved her into a smaller tunnel, covering the entrance with a rock. she was in a cage of rocks, and she looked around, so was the rest of her herd. Then the cats came. Screams cried out as they attacked defenseless horses, giving so much pain but not killing. they used claws, drawing deep scars into their skin. One gave a deep circle in her forehead, and she cried out, and the horses came. One walked over to where she was, laughing wickedly. the cats held her, and he dripped poison into the circle. it burned like fire, and the skin healed, leaving a black circle. the horse circled her, kicking, while cats nipped her legs. Crystal was crouched, trying to come, but angel kept her back, telling her not to come out. she looked towards a scream of pain, and saw a white coat. Her mother. she slammed into the cage walls, ignoring the cats and her captor. Her mother was the only other horse from her herd still alive. Then, with a kick to her head, a black horse killed her, and angel sobbed. she spun to face diablo, and reared, striking him. then she called crystal, and took off towards the rock covering the entrance, slamming into it so hard that it split. she galloped away, blinded by tears, crystal guiding her, and listening to the screams of rage from diablo. They disappeared into the sunrise, and wondered, how could it be that before the sun set, they were all grazing together happily. In just one night, her life had changed.

Outside of angels vision:
Angel layed in the shallow center of the lake screaming and crying for hours, not able to be awoken. Her eyes snapped open, and she cried more, tears streaming into the lake steadily.

The green-eyed cat walked out," wha tis wrong?" she asked in a peaceful voice

angel didnt hear her, as the memory flooded back again and again. it finally stopped, an dshe lay gasping for breathe, her eyes wide and fearful. She looked like a scared foal. Suddenly, a different memory flooded back to her:
She lay beside her mother in a dark forest, a big black horse staring down at her. She was small, and grey, her long foal legs unsteady. Her mother and father yelled at each other, and the big black horse reared over her, but her mother threw herself in front of her baby, and his hofs came down, just barely missing. He looked down at the white mare, and said; You know i love you, but i have destroyed our babys life. I am the shadows, and she is to be an angel. You will destroy her if you stay with me. He ran off, and her mother lay, whimpering. Then she turned to the baby angel, saying; you are my angel. My angel of shadows. and they lay together, all night.

Angel gasped again. This was endless. This was torture. She looked up at the cat, wide eyed again, but not actually seeing.

Jewel did not know what to do. she knew that the mare was seeing many memories from her past, she could tell from past experinces. the question was how would this insodent end. she didnt want to think abou some of the others.

Angel huffed, continueing to look without seeing, memories flashing again and again. "Help" she croaked, gasping, but the memoriesd came faster

The cat nuzzled Angel," young one. Calm down, help is opening your eyes to see." she murmered in a soothing voice

Angel panted, the memories flashing, and suddenly they stopped. She felt her head slide into the shallow water of the lake, feeling the cold envelope her in a dream-like state.

Savil walked over she could mindheal and normaly heal to she nuzeled the mare and saw in her mind she gasped and staggered back is it bd amber asked worriedly

Angels eyes flashed open again, tears streaming back intothe lake. she gasped for breath, uttering a almost-silent scream, her eyes closing again.

Cat looks at the mare," here " handing a cloud-shaped herb
